I am writing to you personally, on the eve of one of the biggest political decision you're ever likely to make. Before you cast your ballot, I wanted to outline why I believe our EU membership is vital for tackling issues which have no respect for national boundaries, such as
climate change,
air and
water pollution,
controlling corporate power,
tax avoidance, and
maintaining peace.
EU-wide laws are providing stronger protections in the
workplace,
advancing equality,
supporting a greener economy and
improving animal welfare. By working with our closest neighbours we can build a better Europe and secure a fairer, safer, greener future.
