Explained: Who is Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, the new head of ISIS?

Virtually nothing is known about Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Qurayshi. There was some speculation that Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi may be a new nom de guerre of Hajji Abdullah, who appears in recently recovered internal Islamic State records archived by the researcher Aymenn al-Tamimi, The New York Times said in a report.
