Combined with the World Bank Group’s own financing, this brought total financing and mobilization in developing economies to well over $200 billion. The World Bank Group also issued more than $25 billion in guarantees, surpassing its $20 billion annual issuance target for 2030 four years ahead of schedule. The World Bank Group Guarantee Platform, housed at MIGA, issued nearly $18 billion, a 46% increase from the previous year. The results reflect three years of changes across the World Bank Group to work more effectively with the private sector, simplify access for investors, and expand the tools available to them. The aim is to mobilize more capital for developing economies and put more of it to work supporting business growth and jobs.
