The Citizenship (Amendment) Act has sent a wave of cheer through migrant Hindu families from Pakistan who are presently residing in a camp in Jodhpur. These comprise of those who came here in 2013 as well as who arrived 45 days ago. None is as yet an Indian citizen. Admitting he doesn’t know exactly what CAA is, Sadoro Bheel says he has heard “it might give us citizenship”. |
