The Earth is already over 1.3 °C warmer than pre-industrial times. 2024 was the hottest year ever recorded. More than 150 climate disasters struck the world last year. Extreme weather displaced over 800,000 people. Wildfires and floods now define the new normal. We are failing the 1.5 °C goal unless we act now. COP30 is coming to Belém, Brazil, in November 2025.
