Through the World Bank-supported Green Industrialization through Industrial Parks and Special Economic Zones (GIIPS) program, financed by the Korea Green Growth Trust Fund (KGGTF), Rwanda is strengthening the foundations for greener and more competitive industrial development. Korea’s experience shows that integrating eco-industrial park principles early is more cost-effective—and more impactful—than retrofitting later.
