Uganda Should Improve Public Spending on Health for a More Productive Population

KAMPALA, June 27, 2024 — Economic activity in Uganda has remained resilient despite multiple successive shocks, with real gross domestic product (GDP) accelerating from 5.3% in FY22/23 to an estimated 6% in FY23/24, a new World Bank report notes.
