The Future Starts with Youth
The World Bank Group is helping young people in East Asia and Pacific access better jobs, develop strong skills, and build brighter futures
Over the next decade, 320 million young people in East Asia and Pacific will reach working age, but only 110 million new jobs are projected to be created. Closing that gap means investing in skills, expanding opportunity, and ensuring young people have a voice in building the economies of tomorrow. Across the region, the World Bank Group is partnering with governments, civil society and international organizations, local communities, and the private sector to help young people turn their potential into lasting impact.
