COP28: Oil & gas lobby blamed for soft line on fossil fuels

COP28 climate talks are deadlocked over ending the use of fossil fuels. While more than 100 vulnerable and developing countries want a rapid phaseout of oil, gas and coal, a draft text for a deal released on Monday only called for a reduction. Some campaigners are blaming fossil fuel interests for the watered-down draft.
