Does it really need a prolonged inquiry to discover that the Urdu prayer, for allowing which the poor teacher is facing punishment, is conspicuously non-religious?


“No Lord but Jesus Christ. There is only one true God. Forgive us, Father, for allowing a prayer which is an abomination in your right.” This is what a group of fanatics had shouted in the United States Senate, protesting against the recitation of a classical Indian prayer at the beginning of a session in July 2007.
