Germany: ‘No rift’ between Chancellor Angela Merkel and likely successor

The head of Germany's ruling Christian Democrats has dismissed claims she was thrown off the chancellor's plane to the US due to a row. Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer is widely tipped to replace Merkel as chancellor.
